Account Executive

Responsibilities

We are seeking a results-driven Account Executive to drive revenue growth by signing contracts with structural engineering consulting firms, homebuilders, and general contractors. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—acting as a trusted advisor who helps clients modernize their workflows with our AI-driven solutions.

  • Identify and prospect high-value opportunities within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) sector, specifically targeting structural engineering firms, residential homebuilders, and general contractors.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales pipeline: qualify leads, conduct discovery calls, deliver product demonstrations, and lead contract negotiations.
  • Articulate the value of AI-driven structural design to technical and executive stakeholders (e.g., Principals, CTOs, VPs of Construction).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to understand their pain points and business goals.
  • Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to relay customer feedback and market trends that influence product development.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts in the CRM.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand the network and brand presence.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably within SaaS, Construction Tech (ConTech), or the AEC industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and closing complex deals.
  • Strong understanding of the construction lifecycle and the specific needs of engineers and builders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales prospecting tools.
  • Self-starter with a high degree of resilience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Existing network of contacts within structural engineering firms or homebuilders.
  • Experience selling technical software or engineering solutions.
  • Familiarity with structural engineering terminology and workflows.
